Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)

Carbon capture and storage is a proven solution for emissions reduction. It helps with the removal of CO2 from the atmosphere. In World, There are around 35 commercial facilities, including industrial processes, fuel transformation and power generation, with a total annual capture capacity of almost 45 Mt CO2. Also, There are other 300 projects worldwide in various stages of development.

Carbon capture is performed by capturing carbon dioxide (CO2) released by industrial processes and then compressing it to transport it.

The transportation process is performed via pipelines and then stored in deep underground zones based on the geological formations suitability.

CCS Projects can cover a range of applications including but not limited to ammonia production, ethanol production, commercial storage hubs, power etc.
